Read Admiral Margaret Kibben (Retired) provided the prayer on Friday night to open the Friday late-night session of the United States House of Representatives.

Kibben is a U.S. Presbyterian minister who is the pastor of the United States House of Representatives.

Gibben opened her prayer informing the assembly, “Dear God, it appears this night we might be at last standing at the limit of a brand-new Congress.”

That raised some eyebrows. How does she understand this? Did she survey the staying GOP holdouts? Did she have expert details on the variety of Democrats who were blowing off tonight’s session?

Chaplain Gibben then went on to state this about the ballot today, “We asked (God) for your assistance in our considerations and you addressed us. Your response was to permit us to suffer the stress and anxiety, unpredictability, and stress that follows when we select to enable healthy dispute to progress into controversial and ineffective argument. And yet in your grace you changed this forray of discord as a chance to discover commonalities.”

Another lecture from a DC elitist.
What a travesty.
