This isn’t about weapons, or making low-cost political points. Biden will not point out that heros with weapons conserved numerous lives the other day.
If I wished to make this about politics, I ‘d blame “weapon totally free zones.” UNLV is a “weapon totally free zone.” That leaves our kids defenseless like “fish in a barrel” to an active shooter.
If I wished to make this about politics, I ‘d explain this college teacher killer was more than likely a mad, violent, leftist, defund the authorities, extreme America hater- due to the fact that this explains 95% of college teachers.
But I will not go there. This isn’t a time for politics. It is a time for discovering lessons. Former President Obama would call it a “teachable minute.”
The one lesson that stands apart above all else is: Thank God for the cops.
When your life remains in threat (or your kids), no sight is as stunning as law enforcement officers in blue, with badges and weapons drawn, running towards you. At that minute, you’ll thank God for authorities.
So, stop with the idiocy of cops hatred … and continuous condemning of authorities … and “defund the cops.” What all of us require is more cops … and more financing for cops.
I thank God policemans keep my area safe from criminal offense. And I thank God they existed the other day at UNLV within minutes to secure and safeguard all those valuable university student- consisting of somebody I like a lot. Cops conserved the day for our city, and my household.
Thank our authorities chief turned Governor. Thank our authorities captain turned Lt. Governor. Thank our authorities primary Sheriff Kevin McMahill. Thank all the brave Las Vegas law enforcement officer who raced into risk the other day.
