A Nordstrom shop in the Topanga Mall in Los Angeles was raided by a flash mob of looters Saturday afternoon who targeted luxury clothes. Security personnel were apparently assaulted with bear spray by the looters. Mayor Karen Bass (D) called the burglary “definitely undesirable.”

Thirty to 50 individuals belonged to a burglary team Saturday that swarmed a Nordstrom outlet store and utilized bear spray on security personnel at a Southern California shopping center.
The break-in was reported around 4 p.m. at a Nordstrom in the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park. The burglars utilized bear spray on 2 security personnel who faced them, cops stated.
