Tyson Foods Inc (TSN.N) is signing up with other business heavyweights in moving tasks out of Illinois.

It is the current shakeup for Tyson, which has about 1,000 business workers in the Chicago-area and South Dakota workplaces. Nationwide, the meat business has about 120,000 staff members, with about 114,000 of them operating in production plants.

Tyson stated it will start a “phased moving” of the business workers early next year which the relocation will benefit partnership and choice making. Members of the Tyson household, which established Tyson Foods, and numerous magnates have actually long been based in Arkansas.

A business representative stated no layoffs are connected with the movings. It was not understood the number of workplace employees would make the relocation.
