During a speech at Hamilton College, Barack Obama said he ‘trying to dig himself out of a hole’ after two terms at the White House “took a toll on their marriage”.

“I was in a deep deficit with my wife,” Obama said, according to The Daily Beast.

“So I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things,” Obama said.

Obama also took a swipe at Trump during his remarks at Hamilton College.

“It is up to all of us to fix this,” Obama said during a speech at Hamilton College on . “It’s not going to be because somebody comes and saves you. The most important office in this democracy is the citizen, the ordinary person who says, no, that’s not right.”
