The policy, proposed by Supervisor Andrew Do, states that just flags representing the U.S., state and county, along with the flag for detainees of war and military members missing out on in action, will be raised at county homes, consisting of parks.
Supervisor Katrina Foley, who protested the step, informed The Times on Tuesday that the vote was “part of a bigger photo of attempting to coalesce a perspective together that is not about development, not about a varied, inclusive neighborhood, however hanging on to some residue of the past that isn’t truly reflective of mainstream America.”
