According to a report from Washington Examiner, among the signers of the Hunter Biden laptop computer letter stated an active CIA staff member pressed him to sign it.

” David Cariens, a previous intelligence expert for the CIA, informed congressional private investigators previously this year that he and his partner Janice Cariens, a previous operations support officer for the CIA, signed the letter with other previous intelligence authorities after a member of the CIA’s Prepublication Classification Review Board, or PCRB, called him and asked him to,” the outlet reported.

Cariens remembered his narrative was going through prepublication evaluation with the PCRB which an intelligence authorities approached him if he would sign the draft letter.

The PCRB, after asking the Cariens’ to sign the letter, launched Carien’s book, for publication.

” My last book, a narrative, entitled Escaping Madness, was prior to the PCRB in October2020 When the individual in charge of evaluating the book contacted us to state it was authorized without any modifications, I was outlined the draft letter,” he informed Republican private investigators in a declaration. “After hearing the letter’s contents, and the qualifiers … I consented to sign.”
