Patrick Douglas Scruggs, 38, worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office from 2013 up until 2023, according to his LinkedIn page. Scruggs was launched Tuesday night on $65,000 bail on charges of Armed Burglary, Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Battery with a lethal weapon. The victim was reported required to the medical facility with “major however not life=threatening injuries.”
Johnson was sentenced in 2015 to 75 days in jail and a $5000 fine.
