Border encounters reached an all-time low in February under President Trump, with just over 8,000 encounters as illegal aliens are actually deterred from attempting to cross our borders illegally.

This is a massive upgrade from Border Czar Kamala Harris, who helped oversee the largest invasion of the United States in history, telling illegals “don’t come.”

The number of encounters in February 2025 represents a 94% decrease from the 140,641 illegals encountered at the Border under Biden and Harris last February.

During President Trump’s first term, the US recorded its lowest number of illegal aliens entering the country in 47 years. Only 310,000 made it across the border in 2017. In contrast, over 300,000 illegals crossed our border in December 2023 alone — nearly as many as in Trump’s first year in office.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Border Czar Tom Homan said at the beginning of February that that crossings at the border were down 93%, “a bigger decrease than under the first Trump administration.”

Still, the Trump Administration sent another 2,500-3,000 troops to the southern border this weekend to protect the homeland amid the new all-time low numbers.

President Trump announced his historic feat on Saturday, adding that “the invasion of our Country is over” and “the Border is CLOSED to all Illegal Immigrants.”

The month of February, my first full month in Office, had the LOWEST number of Illegal Immigrants trying to enter our Country in History – BY FAR! There were only 8,326 apprehensions of Illegals by Border Patrol at the U.S. – Mexico Border, all of whom were quickly ejected from our Nation or, when necessary, prosecuted for crimes against the United States of America. This means that very few people came –

The Invasion of our Country is OVER. In comparison, under Joe Biden, there were 300,000 Illegals crossing in one month, and virtually ALL of them were released into our Country. Thanks to the Trump Administration Policies, the Border is CLOSED to all Illegal Immigrants. Anyone who tries to illegally enter the U.S.A. will face significant criminal penalties and immediate deportation.

Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks credited the Trump administration’s “effective policies” for the “lowest month in recorded history.”

“February proved our combined efforts in securing the border WORK. USBP apprehended 8,326 illegal aliens at the U.S.-Mexico border, making it the lowest month in recorded history,” Banks said on X. “We will continue to detect, arrest, identify, prosecute and REMOVE all individuals who dare to break our country’s laws by entering illegally.”

He added, “The border is closed to illegal immigration. Do not come.”

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also celebrated the record numbers on the border with a warning to illegal immigrants: “We will find you, arrest you, and send you back.”

Despite the success, President Trump has reportedly still not been satisfied with the pace of deportations.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, ICE Director Caleb Vitello was recently removed from his position and reassigned to oversee all field and enforcement operations, reportedly due to disappointments surrounding deportations.
