A pilot was required to make an emergency situation landing on a Long Island beach on Wednesday night, triggering some beachgoers to panic.
On Wednesday, a pilot of a Cessna 152 was required to make an emergency situation landing on Cedar Beach in Suffolk County, New York, after his single-engine aircraft suffered engine failure.
The 60- year-old pilot was seen flying at a low level over the coastline at Cedar Beach before landing the Cessna 152.
Video of the emergency situation landing reveals the airplane securely landing on the sand, however seconds later on, the aircraft nosedives into the sand, triggering the airplane to turn.
The pilot of the airplane, in addition to the traveler, were both unscathed from the occurrence.

A pilot and a traveler left untouched after their little airplane made an emergency situation landing in Suffolk County.
The single-engine Cessna 152 arrived on Cedar Beach in Mt. Sinai around 7: 30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The 60- year-old pilot reported that the aircraft had actually experienced engine failure before coming down on the beach.
Both the pilot and his traveler, a 59- year-old female, were unscathed. Nobody on the beach was hurt.

This isn’t the very first time the Cessna 152 airplane was required to make an emergency situation landing on a beach.
In 2016, Pilot Robert Keletii was required to make an emergency situation landing at Sunken Meadow State Park after the aircraft suffered an engine failure soon after removing.
Keletii and a trainee he was advising were both unhurt from the occurrence.
