As we reported, Joe Biden is all of a sudden not filling up the U.S. tactical petroleum reserve, which he diminished in an effort to make it appear like gas costs were boiling down.
In 2022, Biden declared he had “a strategy to fill up the Strategic Petroleum Reserve” after draining it to its least expensive level in 4 years.

Peter Doocy of FOX News asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about this today and her brain shorted out.
She attempted to declare that this concern is better for the Department of Energy. Is she ever able to respond to a concern?

DOOCY TIME: “First, the– so, you guys began draining pipes the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to attempt and assist with ‘the Putin Price Hike’ a couple of years earlier. Said You were going to refill it. Now it does not appear like that’s taking place. Why?”
KJP: “Well, from– I think the Department of Energy is– is accountable for– for that specific part– is filling up– filling up that, so I would describe the Department of Energy. I understand there are particular elements to that and how they were going to progress and filling up– refilling it. Uh– I– they would have had more specifics on that for you.”
