Lebron James’ I Promise School in Akron, Ohio is dealing with significant reaction from Akron Public School Board members after it was reported that the school hasn’t had one trainee from its 8th grade class pass a state mathematics test in over 3 years.

Akron Public School board member Valerie McKitrick was stunned by the brand-new discovery and mentioned “Not one? In 3 years?” after she existed with information that revealed not one single trainee in the school’s fall 8th-grade class couldnpass a Ohio mentioned mathematics efficiency test.

Keith Liechty-Clifford who functions as Akron’s district director of school enhancement went on record stating the brand-new finding “Is preventing.”

Despite getting enormous financing from the James Foundation in addition to regional, state, and federal financing, the I Promise school’s “Black trainees and those with impairments, are now checking in the bottom 5% in the state.”

The low test ratings will now trigger the Ohio Department of Education to step in at the school in a last effort attempt to reverse the drop in test ratings.

This fall’s class of 8th graders at the I Promise School hasn’t had a single trainee pass the state’s mathematics test given that the group remained in the 3rd grade.

” Not one? In 3 years?” Akron Public Schools board member Valerie McKitrick asked after that information point existed to the board previously today.

” It is preventing,” reacted Keith Liechty-Clifford, the district’s director of school enhancement.

Five years into the I Promise School, a public school that runs in collaboration with the LeBron James Family Foundation, Akron school board members are beginning to ask concerns about whether I Promise is measuring up to its scholastic guarantee.

In current years the I Promise school has actually been making headings for all the incorrect factors.
