The Carnival Sunshine cruise liner was on its method to Charlestown, South Carolina when suddenly an extreme storm triggered the ship to suffer significant flooding.
The flooding was so bad that an overall of 4 decks were left which triggered residents on board to enter into panic.
According to ABC 4 News much of the guests on board were not providing routine updates on the condition of the ship and at one point got no interactions from team members for over 12 hours.
Videos of the flooding made their method on to Twitter and reveals water taking control of a number of decks of the ship.

Despite the significant flooding the ship had the ability to ride out the storm and had the ability to dock securely on Saturday night.
No one was seriously hurt from the flooding however some guests on board got medical attention for small injuries.
Carnival Cruise launched informed ABC 4 News the following:
” Carnival Sunshine’s go back to Charleston was affected by the weather condition and rough seas on Saturday. Visitors on board the ship were safe. Our medical personnel assisted a little number of visitors and team members who required small help.
The weather condition’s extended effect on the Charleston location postponed the ship’s arrival on Sunday and as an outcome, the next trip’s embarkation was likewise postponed.
