Watch: Military Academy Goes Wild When Trump Official Reveals Plans for Jesus Painting That Biden Admin Hid

What many older Americans have undoubtedly perceived as a decades-long cultural retreat from Christianity now feels like a modern revival.

In a clip posted Tuesday to the social media platform X, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy received enthusiastic and prolonged applause from midshipmen at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy when he insisted that a painting of Jesus Christ, relegated to the basement by officials in former President Joe Biden’s administration, must return to its former place of honor.

“Let’s bring Him up!” Duffy thundered.

One could barely hear the secretary’s words over the audience’s raucous cheers.

The full clip, which had more than 607,000 views on X as of Friday morning, even provided some important context.

Early in the clip, Duffy pledged to fight so that the academy received the “respect and the money that this academy deserves.”

Of course, everyone likes respect and money, so that comment brought the applause one would expect.

Those cheers, however, paled in comparison to what followed when Duffy mentioned the painting.

“Could we bring Jesus up from the basement?” the secretary asked as he concluded his remarks, looking at someone in the audience.

The midshipmen erupted in cheers, which told Duffy that he had hit upon something important to them.

“Let’s not put Jesus in the basement!” he said, barely audible above the cheers. “Let’s bring Him up!”

Those cheers continued for a full 30 seconds.

“That was the loudest applause we got!” Duffy said.

According to The Christian Post, the Biden administration relegated the 1947 painting, “Christ on the Water,” to a flood-prone basement “following following a 2023 letter from Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, who issued a ‘demand’ to … ‘expeditiously remove a massive, sectarian painting illustrating the supremacy of Jesus Christ.’”

Weinstein has spent years making similar demands to other military academies and installations over Christian-themed objects.

Multiple midshipmen, speaking on condition of anonymity, praised Duffy for making that very public, painting-related demand.

“I remember many times when I used to pray underneath that painting when I was on the verge of failing a class, or I had big tests or I was worried about something,” one midshipman said. “I’ve prayed underneath that painting when it used to be in Wiley Hall. So to me, it’s a very significant, important painting, and I think it’s an important part of the school’s history.”

Meanwhile, another midshipman described the painting in similar terms while adding a larger context.

“[P]eople would look up to that painting and say, ‘Everything’s going to be all right. Jesus is looking after me, just like He’s looking after these sailors who are washed up on a boat somewhere in the middle of the ocean,’” the second midshipman said.

“I think everyone was on their feet for the Jesus painting and clapping,” he added. “I thought, ‘Finally, the fight is somewhat close to over.’”

That word — “finally” — undoubtedly hit home for many readers.

After all, the woke elite’s war on Christianity suffered a major setback when President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

Furthermore, that relentless and tyrannical assault helped bring other prominent figures to Jesus.

Indeed, those with eyes to see and ears to hear have observed many signs of Christian revival in recent years.

Thus, kudos to Duffy for allowing those midshipmen to voice their love of Jesus and thereby provide us with one more stirring piece of evidence that God’s work in modern America continues.

While China has had a rough week in the markets trying to cope with what Viktor Orbán called ‘the Trump tornado’, now Beijing has a more literal storm to deal with.

Chinese state media is now urging people weighing less than 110lb to stay at home to shelter from the extreme winds expected this weekend.

Daily Mail reported:

“Typhoon-like gales are expected to sweep through northern China from Friday to Sunday, with Beijing postponing major sporting events, closing parks, suspending dozens of train services.

The region’s 22 million residents have been warned against non-essential travel, while those weighing less than 110lbs have been told they could be ‘easily blown away’.”

Thin people and children are in dangers of being carried away.

Flights have been cancelled due to ‘Mongolian gusts’ of up to 93mph across northern China.

The strong gales carrying sand and dust forced Beijing to issue an orange (second strongest) gale alert for the first time in 10 years.

“Temperatures in the capital were set to fall by 12 degrees Celsius on Saturday, and meteorologists warned that wind speeds could rival or exceed April records dating back to 1951.”

Chinese marathon to mix robots and humans is postponed.

A Beijing marathon previously scheduled for tomorrow (13) in which humanoid robots will race alongside humans has been postponed by a week.

“Natural disasters in China caused direct economic losses of 9.3 billion yuan ($1.27 billion) in the first two months of 2025, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management.”

Trump Administration Faces Lawsuit from Law Firm That Secured $787.5 Million Dominion Payout from Fox News

0

The law firm Susman Godfrey LLP—the same firm that secured a staggering $787.5 million defamation settlement from Fox News on behalf of Dominion Voting Systems—is now suing President Trump and nearly every major federal agency in a brazen effort to overturn a recent executive order targeting the firm for its politicized legal activism.

Susman Godfrey, a Houston-based firm of leftist legal elites, filed a 66-page lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, hysterically claiming that President Trump’s Executive Order targeting their firm is an unconstitutional “retaliation” for their work defending the “integrity” of the 2020 election.

The complaint alleges violations of the First and Fifth Amendments, as well as separation-of-powers principles.

“The President is abusing the powers of his office to wield the might of the Executive Branch in retaliation against organizations and people that he dislikes,” according to the filing.

“Nothing in our Constitution or laws grants a President such power; to the contrary, the specific provisions and overall design of our Constitution were adopted in large measure to ensure that presidents cannot exercise arbitrary, absolute power in the way that the President seeks to do in these Executive Orders.”

More on the filing reviewed by The Gateway Pundit:

The Executive Order makes no secret of its unconstitutional retaliatory and discriminatory intent to punish Susman Godfrey for its work defending the integrity of the 2020 presidential election.

[…]

The President is engaged in an unprecedented and unconstitutional assault on those bedrock principles and on the independent bar. In recent weeks, the President has issued multiple executive orders targeting law firms and their employees in an express campaign of retaliation for representing clients and causes he disfavors or employing lawyers he dislikes.

Those orders are so obviously unconstitutional that the firms that have challenged them have immediately and uniformly received judicial orders acknowledging their probable unconstitutionality and barring their enforcement.

Below are the defendants named in the lawsuit filed by Susman Godfrey LLP:

On Wednesday, President Trump signed a sweeping executive order launching a federal investigation and crackdown on the law firm Susman Godfrey LLP

The new directive orders the Department of Justice, the Office of Management and Budget, and intelligence agencies to immediately initiate a full-scale investigation into Susman Godfrey, citing a pattern of “egregious conduct, racial discrimination, and weaponization of the legal system” against political opponents and the American public.

The 6-section executive order makes clear that Susman Godfrey is no longer welcome in the halls of power:

  • Section 1 denounces the firm for pushing radical “diversity, equity, and inclusion” policies — including programs that offer jobs and scholarships based solely on race — and declares these practices “un-American and unlawful.”

  • Section 2 calls for the suspension of security clearances held by Susman employees and ends the firm’s access to government resources and classified spaces.

  • Section 3 orders a freeze and review of all federal contracts involving Susman or its affiliates, urging agencies to cancel deals where possible.

  • Section 4 ties the move to broader efforts to dismantle race-based hiring practices in federal contracting and lawfare against conservatives.

  • Section 5 prohibits Susman personnel from entering federal buildings or being hired by the U.S. government without high-level waivers.

  • Section 6 underscores that this order must be interpreted in a way that defends American national security and respects existing law.

LAPD Says Weezer Bass Player’s Wife Fired Gun at Police Before Being Shot by Officer

Weezer bass player Scott Shriner’s wife, Jillian Shriner, fired at police before being shot by a Los Angeles Police Department officer on Tuesday, the department has confirmed.

Shriner has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a peace officer.

Shriner, 51, is a former prostitute-turned-author who wrote about her time in the harem of the Prince of Brunei.

The LAPD was tracking an unrelated hit-and-run suspect through a backyard when they spotted Shriner in a neighboring yard armed with a handgun.

In a press release, the LAPD said, “As the officers were in the rear yard of that residence, they observed a female, later identified as 51-year-old Jillian Shriner, in the yard of a neighboring residence armed with a handgun. The officers ordered Shriner to drop the handgun numerous times; however, she refused. Shriner then pointed the handgun at the officers, and an Officer-Involved Shooting occurred.”

“Shriner was struck by gunfire and fled into her residence. She later exited and was taken into custody,” the press release continued. “Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported Shriner to a local hospital, where she was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.”

In a subsequent press release, the LAPD confirmed that Shriner had actually fired her weapon at the police.

“Our investigation revealed evidence such as a shell casing and video footage showing she repeatedly ignored police commands to disarm and that she fired her weapon at LAPD officers. She was subsequently booked for attempted murder of a peace officer.”

No officers or other civilians were injured during the incident.

Shriner was released on Wednesday on a $1 million bond. She is scheduled to return to court on April 30.

Weezer is scheduled to perform at the Coachella Music Festival on Saturday. NBC News reports that the band still intends to perform.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested 25-year-old Aliakbar Mohammed Amin in Georgia for making direct threats against President Donald Trump, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and the White House.

Amin was taken into custody in Lilburn, a suburb of Atlanta, where FBI agents reportedly confiscated a firearm during the arrest, according to Daily Wire.

The FBI’s Atlanta field office announced the arrest via social media, stating: “Bottom line, the FBI does not tolerate threats and will hold offenders fully accountable.”

Details regarding the nature of Amin’s threats remain undisclosed, and it is unclear what specific charges he will face. The FBI has indicated that more information will be released on Monday.

Deputy Chief of Staff to Gabbard, Alexa Henning, called out CNN, which shamelessly endangered Gabbard’s life just days before Amin’s arrest.

“I told @CNN that @TulsiGabbard had credible, active threats against her and her family and they went ahead and doxxed her address anyway.”

The arrest of Amin came just hours after another threat was neutralized in Pennsylvania, where Shawn Monper, a self-described Satanist who posted under the handle “Mr Satan,” was arrested for openly stating his intent to assassinate President Trump on YouTube.

Monper lived in Butler, Pennsylvania—the same town where Trump barely survived an assassination attempt during a rally last summer.

Democrats celebrate MS13 gangbange’s return to America.

The US Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the US to facilitate the return of alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The ruling was unanimous. There was no dissent.

For the record — In 2019 Abrego Garcia was captured with several MS-13 members who identified him as a high-ranking member.

The US Supreme Court just ordered him back to the US.
What are we missing?

Since the SCOTUS ruling the Democrats are cheering the MS13 gangbanger’s return to US soil.

But none of these elites will have to worry about this MS13 member from disrupting them in their elitist communities.

EXCLUSIVE: American Adventurer Driving a Lamborghini Camper Through Every Country in the World — Currently in Moscow, Russia and Headed Toward Afghanistan & North Korea

Guest post by Connor Camperghini Team

In an extraordinary global journey that defies borders and expectations, American adventurer Connor Camperghini is on a mission to drive his self-built Lamborghini Urus camper through every country on Earth, proving that anything is possible with grit, frugality, and fearlessness.

Currently in Moscow, Russia. Connor is preparing to cross into Afghanistan, continue down through Asia, and eventually drive to North Korea.

After Asia, his route will wind through the Middle East, both coasts of Africa, fly the car down to Antarctica to drive to the South Pole, and eventually reach South America, driving all the way back to America, mounting an expedition to cross the Darien Gap.

Photo provided by Connor Camperghini

No place is off-limits” says Connor, a self-made entrepreneur who built his life from humble beginnings. “I’m here to show people that when you sacrifice early, live frugally, and believe in yourself, you can live a life that’s truly yours not one someone else planned for you.”

Connor lives full-time in his Lamborghini Urus retrofitted into a rugged overlanding camper, complete with a bed he proudly notes is “big enough for two.

While he doesn’t have a full-time travel partner, he frequently invites “passenger princesses” to join for local adventures, capturing the true essence of each country through the eyes of its people.

Over the past 21 months, Connor has driven through 32 countries, covering over 35,000 miles of wildly diverse terrain. His journey has included run-ins with the Romanian mob, being questioned by the KGB in Belarus, and nearly arrested in France for taking a photo at the Eiffel Tower. He even attended the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy.

On the Autobahn, he pushed the Lamborghini to 175 mph. He’s camped and showered at Lamborghini dealerships, slept on beaches in Italy, in stadiums in England, in the mountains of Montenegro, and nearly slid off a cliff in the Swiss Alps.

He spent Christmas in Transnistria, a breakaway region of Moldova, and even camped on Jeremy Clarkson’s farm in the UK.

Connor Camperghini welcomed in Russia (@camperghini / Instagram)

Most recently, he welded American-style BBQs from oil barrels in Russia and hosted a BBQ at a local tuner workshop, locals have begun calling him the American cultural ambassador to Russia.

This multi-year expedition is the culmination of a lifetime of hustle.

Connor started his first business: a car wash at just 8 years old, was suspended for flipping soda cans for profit in school, and by 16 was remodeling homes.

He built lawn mowing and snow- blowing companies, and later worked in construction, grinding 18-hour days, 7 days a week. He lived off Costco burgers and canned lentils, slept at job sites, and saved every dollar to invest in his future.

But after what he thought was the pinnacle, owning a house, landing the “dream girl”, and achieving traditional success, his relationship ended. “That’s when I realized I was living by rules I didn’t write,” he says. “So I burned the rulebook.

Connor sold everything, donated the rest, and bought a Lamborghini to travel the world. The journey began in Colorado where he originally built the camper out and even caught the car on fire welding in a friend’s garage, but like the vehicle itself, it’s evolved since he first shipped the car via DHL Freight plane from LAX to Germany.

He welded his first roof rack in Romania, replaced it in Germany, added off-road tires, redesigned the bed in Montenegro and Poland, and is now custom-building skid plates and a new bumper in Russia.

Along the way, Connor has drawn criticism from traditional overlanders and “armchair adventurers” who say he should just be doing this in a Toyota, or Land Rover. His response? “I fill the fuel tank on the tears of the haters.

If a Lamborghini can make it, so can you, quit creating excuses.” His message? “Live now. Don’t wait.”

“People only see the polished moments,” Connor says. “But this is hard. Going from construction to YouTube, I had to learn everything, editing, filming, storytelling, it’s all been an uphill battle. But now it’s working. Sponsors are coming on board, and the channel is growing.

Connor is not just driving. He’s creating content to inspire people to break free from fear and see the world, especially the places most avoid. “Everyone gives warnings not to go. But when you go to these places, you meet the kindest, most generous people. We’re all just human. You don’t need a Lamborghini or even shoes to connect.”

The journey, which will take years, will take him across the Darien Gap, the world’s most treacherous overland crossing, and eventually back home to the United States.

Follow his journey on social media @camperghini and get inspired to rewrite your story.

‘Targeted Justice’ Sounds Alarm on DHS-Funded “Gangstalking Programs” in Explosive Letter to Secretary Noem

Targeted Justice, a civil liberties organization representing victims of unlawful surveillance and harassment, has fired off a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem, demanding an immediate end to what they call “un-American and illegal” programs funded by the agency.

The letter, penned by Ana L. Toledo, Esq., Vice President and Counsel for Targeted Justice, accuses DHS of orchestrating a sprawling network of surveillance, harassment, and psychological operations through Fusion Centers, targeting innocent Americans under the guise of counterterrorism.

The letter claims DHS is bankrolling a shadowy campaign against over 300,000 Americans wrongfully placed on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB).

Citing Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General audits, Targeted Justice alleges that 97% of TSDB entries have “no known ties to terrorism,” branding the list a tool to silence whistleblowers, political activists, January 6th defendants, and parents protesting at school boards—groups she labels as “enemies of the Deep State.”

According to the letter obtained by The Gateway Pundit:

RE: DHS-FUNDED CRIMES

Honorable Secretary Noem:

In light of the policies set forth by President Donald J. Trump’s February 18, 2025 Executive Order titled “Radical Transparency About Wasteful Spending”, this is to bring to your attention the un-American and illegal activity orchestrated and funded by the Department of Homeland Security that you should order to be immediately eradicated.

During your confirmation hearings, referring to the agency you were appointed to direct, Senator Rand Paul stated:

“There is not a single comprehensive list to address all the collaborative relationships that the department and its components engage in…that we can’t describe them.”

The reason why DHS refused to describe some of these “collaborative relationships” to the Homeland Security Committee is because many of them are patently illegal and in violation of the Fourth Amendment trample over the most basic civil and human rights of those illegally targeted by the government.

There are over 300,000 Americans that Federal Bureau of Investigation’s officials have attested under penalty of perjury have been placed on the Terrorist Screening Database without reasonable suspicion and “under secret criteria.”

The Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General audit reports concluded that 97% of the people on the TSDB have “No known ties to terrorism” and do not represent a threat to national security. Only .28% of the list contains the names of actual “known and suspected terrorists.” The vast majority of this “blacklist” is reserved for whistleblowers, activists, J6ers, parents that protest at school boards, and any enemy of the Deep State.

DHS imparts the directives implemented in the Fusion Centers that carry out the illegal psychological operations against the people illegally placed on the TSDB. Together with their Citizen Corps co-conspirators, state and federal officials engage in organized stalking, spying, harassment, street theater, vandalism, break-ins, and a myriad of illegal tactics to obliterate these “blacklisted’ individuals.

These DHS-funded programs are unconstitutional and even criminal. They mirror the Stasi police state that is un-American and militates against the most basic precepts of the America First agenda. Under President Trump’s order, they should be eradicated from DHS operations.

I urge you to order an immediate halt to the funding of the illegal gangstalking programs at DHS, (also coded as “counterterrorism”). Consistent with the EO cited above, I urge you to inform the public about the closure of this nefarious chapter in the history of DHS, along the implementation of measures that will ensure such crimes against humanity will never again be paid for the taxpayer dollars that fund DHS.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter.

The accusations come alongside Targeted Justice’s ongoing $1.3 billion lawsuit against the Biden regime’s Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and DHS, filed in the U.S. District Court in Houston in 2023 (Case 4: 23-cv-1013), which claims a secretive “McCarthy Blacklist” within the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) is being used to harass and torture civilians.

Victims named in the lawsuit state they have no way to clear their names, no charges filed, no evidence presented, and no access to legal remedies. Violations of the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments are central to the constitutional claims in the case.

Among the most disturbing claims in the lawsuit are allegations that “microwave weapons” and other forms of directed energy technologies have been used on innocent civilians — leading to unexplained injuries, psychological trauma, and symptoms similar to the so-called “Havana Syndrome” reported by U.S. diplomats overseas, which was blamed on Russia.

Included in the group’s documentation are images of victims with skin lesions, said to be consistent with non-lethal weapon testing.

They further allege that the list has been distributed to law enforcement through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), where targets are flagged under vague “handling codes,” resulting in innocent civilians being labeled as “suspected terrorists”.

Toledo also commended America First Legal for demanding transparency, applauding its formal request to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to declassify and release the Biden regime’s secretive domestic surveillance and censorship blueprint.

It can be recalled that several Federal Air Marshal (FAM) whistleblowers have come forward to expose that Tulsi Gabbard was enrolled in the controversial Quiet Skies program.

Quiet Skies is a program by the TSA that uses air marshals to track and observe suspicious passengers.

Democrat Massachusetts Lawmaker Arrested on Federal Fraud Charges in Stunning Corruption Scandal

Christopher Flanagan (Credit: malegislature.gov)

In yet another stunning chapter of Democrat corruption, Massachusetts State Representative Christopher Flanagan (D-First Barnstable) was arrested Thursday after being indicted on five counts of wire fraud and one count of falsification of records in connection to a brazen scheme to steal tens of thousands of dollars from a local trade association.

The embattled Cape Cod legislator allegedly used the stolen cash to fund everything from mortgage payments and Macy’s menswear to psychic services, children’s toys, and even his 2022 political campaign.

Flanagan, 37, who represents the Cape towns of Dennis, Yarmouth, and Brewster, is now facing up to 120 years in prison if convicted. He was arrested Thursday morning and is scheduled to appear in federal court at 2: 30 p.m.

According to the bombshell federal indictment, Flanagan’s theft began in 2021 while he was serving as Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association of Cape Cod (HBA).

With personal debt mounting and his bank accounts hemorrhaging from overdraft fees and missed mortgage payments, Flanagan allegedly began siphoning money from the nonprofit — ultimately embezzling at least $36,000 through wire transfers, PayPal, and official checks.

Flanagan allegedly used the association’s funds for:

  • $10,000 to fund his own political campaign

  • $1,000+ on men’s ties, dress shirts, and sports coats

  • Hundreds of dollars for psychic readings

  • An air conditioner and an electric dryer delivered to his home

  • Campaign t-shirts disguised as “office supplies”

  • Toys and children’s clothing from Target

Flanagan allegedly created fraudulent expense reports and even logged into the HBA’s bookkeeping system using another employee’s credentials to conceal the theft.

According to the U.S. Attorney, he fabricated phony receipts and labeled luxury items as “office supplies” or “travel expenses.”

Via MA’s Attorney’s Office:

As part of his concealment, it is alleged that Flanagan told the HBA Board that he withdrew funds to reimburse himself for HBA-related expenses that he had paid for out-of-pocket with his personal funds. When the HBA Board requested proof, Flanagan allegedly provided two phony expense reports:

On the first expense report, Flanagan allegedly claimed he had spent $159.36 on “Technology Expenses” at Best Buy on March 4, 2022 and $537.26 on “Office Supplies” at 4Imprint on April 18, 2022.

Records of the actual purchases, however, allegedly showed that the Best Buy purchase was for a portable Bluetooth speaker and that the 4Imprint purchase was for t-shirts supporting Flanagan’s State Representative campaign:

Additionally, in the second expense report, Flanagan allegedly claimed to have spent a total of $3,784.84 on “Office Supplies.” Records of the actual purchases, however, allegedly showed that $2,118.10 of this amount was actually used for Flanagan’s personal expenses.

Specifically: $613.70 and $361.24 Best Buy purchases were allegedly for an electric dryer and an air conditioner, both delivered to Flanagan’s home; a $1,050.30 Macy’s purchase allegedly for men’s ties, dress shirts, slacks and sports coats; and a $92.86 purchase at Target allegedly for children’s clothes and toys.

According to the indictment, in or about December 2022, the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF) opened an investigation regarding a campaign mailer that was distributed during Flanagan’s 2022 campaign for State Representative, purportedly a group called “Conservatives for Dennis.”

When investigators closed in, Flanagan didn’t stop. Instead, he allegedly invented a fake conservative persona — “Jeanne Louise” — and created email accounts to impersonate her and others, all in a desperate attempt to deceive the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF), which had launched a probe into his shady campaign mailers.

When OCPF questioned a $10,000 donation to his campaign made shortly after the theft, Flanagan doubled down — providing more falsified records and claiming the funds were his personal money, despite bank records showing he had just $42 in his account days prior.

Flanagan remains in office as of this writing, continuing to collect a taxpayer-funded salary north of $100,000 a year. He faces a maximum sentence of 120 years in federal prison and $1.5 million in fines. Sentencing will ultimately be determined by a federal judge.

MassGOP urges Massachusetts Democrats to demand the immediate resignation of Rep. Chris Flanagan following his federal fraud arrest.

According to the statement:

The Massachusetts Republican Party is calling on the Massachusetts Democratic Party to demand the immediate resignation of State Representative Chris Flanagan, who was arrested this week on federal fraud charges. The charges allege that Flanagan stole tens of thousands of dollars from his former employer to finance his political campaign, pay his mortgage and credit cards, and fund personal expenses including psychic services and high-end menswear.

“This is not the first time the Massachusetts Republican Party has called for Chris Flanagan to resign,” said MassGOP Chairwoman Amy Carnevale. “Back in January, when the Office of Campaign and Political Finance found Flanagan responsible for violating campaign finance laws—including fabricating a false alias to intentionally mislead his constituents—we said then that he had no place in public office. The federal charges only confirm what was already evident: Chris Flanagan is unfit to serve, and Massachusetts Democrats must demand his resignation now.”

Flanagan’s arrest is not an isolated incident—it is part of a disturbing pattern of misconduct within the Massachusetts Democratic Party. In just the past two weeks:

  • Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson, a Democrat, remains in office despite pleading guilty to multiple counts of fraud.
  • high-ranking MassDems Party operative was recently arrested for unspeakable and deeply disturbing crimes.
  • Now, State Representative Chris Flanagan faces federal criminal charges for financial fraud and deception.

“The Massachusetts Democratic Party has a serious problem,” continued Carnevale. “This is not about isolated bad actors—it’s about a culture of corruption and entitlement that’s gone unchecked for far too long. The MassDems must demonstrate they are capable of holding their own accountable, starting with calling for Chris Flanagan’s resignation today.”

The Massachusetts Republican Party urges Democratic leadership to put the people of Massachusetts first, restore integrity in public service, and take a stand against corruption by demanding Flanagan’s immediate removal from office.

Whether the Massachusetts Democrat Party will take action — or continue to protect one of its own — remains to be seen.
