Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman Craig Berland stated that Maricopa County “stopped working” to take severe election security procedures in a declaration launched after taking part in the County’s pre-election Logic and Accuracy test, led by Election Directors Scott Jarrett and Rey Valenzuela, ahead of the jurisdictional elections in the cities of Tempe and Carefree, Arizona.
This comes following the sham 2022 Midterm Election, where ballot devices stopped working at 60% of voting places, targeting and disenfranchising Republican citizens.
Despite a current report by Maricopa County mentioning that “robust tension screening” is needed for future elections, the County did not even check ballot-on-demand printers, which are utilized for in-person ballot!
However, as The Gateway Pundit reported, Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell called this report on the County’s examination into the failures on Election Day a “cover-up” and required repercussions versus election authorities.
Berland concluded in the declaration he was ” dissatisfied that Maricopa County federal government authorities stopped working to take extra suitable steps to guarantee that all citizen device was consisted of in the L&A screening to show sufficient screening for election release, specifically after the significant failure of the BOD printers in the last election.“
The Gateway Pundit was informed by another that the individuals from 3 celebrations were offered with little info or direction on what would exist, and all tests on tabulators were run all of a sudden and at the same time so that not everyone might completely examine every one.
MCRC CHAIRMAN CRAIG BERLAND STATEMENT ON MAY 1, 2023 MARICOPA COUNTY PRE-ELECTION LOGIC AND ACCURACY TEST
CONTACT: MCRC CHAIRMAN CRAIG BERLAND|E-MAIL: chair@maricopacountygop.org
PHOENIX, ARIZONA– On May 1, 2023, I participated in the Logic and Accuracy (L&A) Test for the approaching May 16, 2023 Jurisdictional Elections in Tempe and Carefree, Arizona, both cities within the jurisdiction of Maricopa County.
The whole of the test was to validate if the tabulators at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC) counted the preprinted tallies the like formerly counted. The outcomes did undoubtedly match, and I signed, as MCRC Chairman, that I saw the coordinating numbers.
What I was not asked to sign was a file specifying that all devices connected with the election were evaluated and discovered to pass the L&A test. County election management was particularly questioned about the Ballot As Needed (BOD) printers that would become part of the election devices, and they reacted that BOD printers were not part of the L&A test that we saw. Nor were we asked to confirm the test tallies as significant.
As Chairman of the Republican Party in Maricopa County, one who takes the significance of Election Integrity seriously, I am dissatisfied that Maricopa County federal government authorities stopped working to take extra proper procedures to make sure that all citizen device was consisted of in the L&A screening to show appropriate screening for election implementation, specifically after the significant failure of the BOD printers in the last election.
– Craig Berland, MCRC Chairman
Similarly, As reported by Brian Lupo with The Gateway Pundit, tabulators utilized in Maricopa County were most likely not checked at all by county authorities, and if they were, they were evaluated inconceivably listed below the requirements of the Arizona Revised Statute. This is regardless of statement by Maricopa County Election Director Scott Jarrett in Kari Lake’s election trial that the Logic and Accuracy screening was adequately finished.
Below is an excerpt from the 2019 Arizona Elections Procedures Manual and Scott Jarrett’s statement from a November 28 Board of Supervisors conference:
After coming off a huge catastrophe of an Election Day that might have been quickly avoided had they effectively carried out L&A screening, Maricopa CO doubles down and avoids the screening of their BOD printers. Once again. According to the MCRC: pic.twitter.com/KkSmHUpFtx
