U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will check out the de-militarised zone (DMZ) separating North and South Korea on Thursday, according to U.S. and South Korean authorities.
The go to was revealed on Tuesday by South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo throughout a conference with Harris in Tokyo and was later on validated by a U.S. authorities.
Harris remains in the area to lead a U.S. governmental delegation to the funeral service of previous Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Tuesday.
President Trump went to the DMZ in 2019 and shook hands with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
