J6 protesters who have been waiting for years to go home to their families received a mix of good and bad news from incoming Vice President JD Vance on Sunday.
AS TGP readers know, President Trump for months has vowed to pardon at least some of those who exercised their First Amendment rights on that fateful day though he has not specifically stated who, if any, will be left out in the cold.
While speaking on Fox News Sunday, Vance revealed to host Shannon Bream how the incoming administration will decide who should get a pardon and who should stay in jail.
“Where is the line drawn on who will and wouldn’t be considered for a pardon?” Bream asked Vance.
“It’s very simple,” Vance replied. “If you protested peacefully on Jan. 6th, and you had Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice treat you like a gang member – you should be pardoned.”
“If you committed violence on that day, obviously, you should not be pardoned,” he continued. “There’s a little bit of a grey area there, but we’re committed to seeing the equal administration of law.”
“And there are a lot of people in the wake of J6 who were prosecuted unfairly, and we need to rectify that.”

Over 1,200 Trump supporters have been targeted, stalked, and arrested by DOJ thugs following the J6 protest. Hundreds were arrested and persecuted for walking inside the open doors of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Matthew Perna, Jord Meachum, Mark Aungst, and Chris Stanton died by suicide following the merciless harassment by their government.
On top of this, individuals were assaulted by Capitol police officers during the protest, and Ashli Babbitt and Roseanne Boyland were killed. Yet no charges were brought against the officers involved.
While the incoming Trump administration appears to be trying to thread a needle, how can we be assured that there was justice served in ANY of these criminal trials?
And if Biden can give relief to the most vile human beings on the planet, why should Trump not let all of these political prisoners go home to their families after years of h*ll?
