On Thursday night a number of CBS workers who work for Colbert’s late-night program were apprehended in the United States Capitol, trespassing after hours, and HARASSING GOP legislators.
The United States Capitol was closed at the time.

The group of leftist insurrectionists supposedly banged on doors of a number of Republican workplaces– consisting of that of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, Jim Jordan of Ohio and Lauren Boebert of Colorado.

Late Thursday, the people, consisting of “Triumph, the Insult Dog” puppeteer Robert Smigel– a regular visitor of Colbert’s– were not credentialed to be walking without an escort, a House Republican source informed Fox News. Others detained consisted of Colbert author Josh Comers and associate manufacturer Allison Martinez.
The group was cleared into the complex by staffers for Rep. Jake Auchincloss, D-Mass., and House January 6 Committee Member Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
The group supposedly banged on doors of a number of Republican workplaces– consisting of that of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, Jim Jordan of Ohio and Lauren Boebert of Colorado– as they presumably shot an act for Colbert’s “Late Show” program that was to focus around the January 6 hearings.
Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Ill, the ranking member on the House Committee on Administration– which has jurisdiction over the Capitol Police and House chamber operations– informed “Jesse Watters Primetime” Friday he will require responses when Congress go back to session next week.
Davis kept in mind the Colbert group went to the exact same structures as those on Rep. Loudermilk’s, heavily-scrutinized January 5, 2021 trip.
