Juan Carlos Formell, the popular Cuban vocalist and songwriter, has actually passed away at the age of 59.
He passed away after suffering a cardiovascular disease onstage at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx, New York City on May 26.
Formell, who was the child of musical legend Juan Formell, was chosen for a Grammy in 2000 for his launching album ‘Songs from a Little Blue House.’
He left from Cuba and relocated to New York in 1993, and following his dad’s death in 2014, he took control of as the bassist in his Afro-Cuban band, Los Van Van.
They were carrying out in the Bronx when he unexpectedly strayed, and collapsed near a drape at the back of the phase after experiencing a cardiovascular disease.
