Taylor Swift, Jack Smith, and Jeff Bezos: United States Citizens who do not have the authority to represent the United States at the Supreme Court

Earlier today Attorneys General for 19 states submitted a short at the United States Supreme Court to stop Jack Smith’s relocate to prevent the appeals procedure in his prosecution of President Trump.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey published the news on X.

Former Ronald Reagan Attorney General Edwin Meese signed up with law teachers Steven Calabresi and Gary Lawson in sending an amicus quick– a neutral advisory declaration– to the Supreme Court.

Former AG Meese makes the stunning claim that Jack Smith did not get his supposed authority as unique counsel in a legal or constitutional way and, for that reason does not have standing to represent the United States in front of a federal court.

The Western Journal reported:

On Nov. 18, 2022, Attorney General Merrick Garland selected Smith as unique counsel to pester Trump and others over their objections to the governmental election of 2020.

On Aug. 1, the previous president and leading GOP competitor in the 2024 governmental race was prosecuted on 4 felony charges associated with his election difficulties and the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.

Last week, Smith sent a petition to the Supreme Court for a writ of certiorari asking the justices to rule on the concern of governmental resistance. Could Trump be prosecuted for “criminal offenses dedicated while in workplace”?

The word “declared” need to now appear before the expression “unique counsel” in Smith’s case due to the fact that Meese and his coworkers questioned the extremely credibility of Smith’s consultation.

According to Edwin Meese and his co-authors Jack Smith has no company before a federal court.

In his conclusion, Meese mentioned this:

” Smith is a contemporary example of the naked emperor. Improperly designated, he runs out authority to represent the United States in this Court than Bryce Harper, Taylor Swift, or Jeff Bezos. That truth suffices to sink Smith’s petition, and the Court must reject evaluation.”

Here is Edwin Meese’s amicus short– an objective advisory declaration– to the Supreme Court.
