Republicans invested huge to sweep an unique election in Texas’ 34 th Congressional District.
Joe Biden won this district in 2020 by less than 5 points.
A GOP win might indicate an enormous red wave is on the horizon.
The seat “varies from east of San Antonio to Brownsville, mainly along the Gulf Coast prior to reaching the US-Mexico border,” CNN reported.
Democrat Rep. Filemon Vela resigned previously this spring and the Republicans are battling to take the seat, although it will be gone this fall due to redistricting.
According to AP since 9: 10 pm Central: Republican Mayra Flores: 13,208(498%)
Democrat Dan Sanchez: 11,806(445%)
Flores and Sanchez are not the only ones running in this unique election which indicates it might go to an overflow if neither of them win a bulk of Tuesday’s votes.
