CBS’ Lesley Stahl Runs Damage Control for Terrorists When Interviewing Hostage Starved, Beaten and Tortured by Hamas

On 60 Minutes on CBS Sunday night, reporter Lesley Stahl interviewed  who was held several hostages by Hamas terrorists.

As one hostage described the barbaric conditions and treatement he suffered at the hands of monsters, Stahl morphed from reporter to a Hamas damage control spokeswoman.

Her insensitive and bizarre take on describing the months of starvation he suffered is mind-boggling.

Stahl spoke with Keith and Aviva Seigel, both captured during the October 7 terrorist attack on Israeli civilians.

Aviva recounted, “I stood here, and they pushed me out of the window while I had to go all the way there. I was in shock.”

Keith added, “We were driven into Gaza and then taken into a tunnel, feeling in danger, feeling life-threatened [with] terrorists around us with weapons. We were gasping for breath.”

Keith then shared the depraved abuse he witnesses while in captivity sharing, “I witnessed a young woman being tortured by the terrorists. I mean literal torture, not just in the figurative sense.”

He added that the terrorists forced him to watch their cruelty, “I saw [the] sexual assault [of] female hostages.”

Once Aviva was released during the first temporary ceasefire in 2023, Keith said that his conditions in captivity worsened.

Stahl’s reaction to Keith’s horryfying accounting was to try to provide cover for the terrorists.

Keith: The terrorists became very mean and very cruel and very violent, much more so [than before the 2023 ceasefire].

They were beating me and starving me.

Stahl: Do you think they starved you, or they just didn’t have food?

Keith: No, I think they starved me, as they would often eat in front of me and not offer me food.
