A medical professional whom authorities state deliberately drove his Tesla off a California cliff– hurting his 2 kids, his partner and himself– will deal with attempted murder and kid abuse charges when launched from a health center where he remained in steady condition on Wednesday.

Dharmesh Patel, 41, a radiologist from Pasadena, was put under arrest after being saved from the damaged car at the rocky bottom of Devil’s Slide, an infamously hazardous cliff above the Pacific Ocean south of San Francisco.

Patel, his 41- year-old other half, his 7-year-old child and his 4-year-old-son all made it through the almost 300- foot (91- meter) plunge to the water’s edge.
