The House will vote Friday early morning on the 3rd Speaker tally at 10 am ET.
Chairman Jim Jordan up until now has actually stopped working to protect the 2017 votes to win the gavel. He stated he anticipated a 3rd tally before gathering with some RINO holdouts in a closed-door conference.

Jordan apparently consulted with McCarthy, Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry, Lee Zeldin and a few of the RINOs declining to back him for Speaker.
The RINO holdouts are not budging, according to Congress press reporters on the Hill.
They are motivating Jim Jordan to leave.
” Gimenez, leaving the conference in between McCarthy, McHenry, Jordan and the hold outs, stated no minds were altered which Jordan was motivated in the conference to leave.” Politico reported.
The Republican Caucus was divided on whether to support a resolution providing Patrick McHenry power as short-lived Speaker.
Earlier Thursday it was reported that Jim Jordan would back McCarthy ally Patrick McHenry as interim Speaker up until January.
A number of days ago previous House Speakers John Boehner and Newt Gingrich backed McHenry for interim Speaker.
The resolution to empower McHenry failed Thursday night.
