In the interview with Straka Strand shares, “(2020) This is a completely brand-new time in life … things are going bananas so I seemed like perhaps I require to get more involved in your area and possibly I require to get more included openly. And I had actually prevented that, in regards to being public of my, political beliefs, if that’s how you wish to expression it. I attempted not to be a political individual. I’ve attempted to be a principled individual my entire life for sure.”

” But I wasn’t pushing that it in anybody’s face either. I was simply living my life attempting to be real to myself and what I understand God was calling me to and I was attempting to do that in Hollywood as a star, so it’s not valuable to be in Hollywood as a star to be politically classical or conservative or constitutional or any of those things so I wasn’t preaching about that or anything. Like I stated, 2020 the entire world moved.”

Strand continues,” I was apprehended on Martin Luther King day, paradoxically enough, which is January 18 th and I, uh, didn’t get a possibility to determine what I was in fact charged with up until I was launched from jail, uh, after those 4 days and perhaps the week after that I got to touch base with my, my, lawyer and determine what was going on, so …”

Straka: “And you’re charged with 4 misdemeanors and a felony, is that appropriate?”

Strand: “That’s appropriate.”

Straka: “And basically, these 4 misdemeanors are, so, there numerous variations of basically remaining in a limited location?”

Strand: “Actually there is just one for remaining in a limited location. The other ones are variations on disorderly conduct.”

Straka: “Ok, and after that inform us about the felony.”

Strand: “The felony is blockage of justice for avoiding a main case I believe is the complete title of the indictment. It’s a blockage of justice charge which brings a 20- year jail sentence.”

Straka: “Were you charged with that charge from the really starting?”

Strand: “Yes.”

Strand:” The circumstance we are dealing with is not genuine, it’s not appropriate, it’s not respectable. It’s illegal, really. It is a constitutional offense to target and prosecute and penalize specific groups of individuals and not other groups of individuals for comparable actions when you are clearly picking who to prosecute and penalize based upon your desire to, to separate and silence and, you understand, damage them, based upon their political association or viewpoint.”

Straka: “But I believe a minimum of 80-90% are taking plea offers. You’re not. Why?”

Strand: “No. Well, you stated there is an excellent factor for individuals to do that which’s definitely real in the useful sense, um, pragmatically to handle the truth that we’re dealing with. The truth we’re dealing with is not okay.”
