Richmond, Virginia– A conservative Christian advocacy group was declined service and turned away from Metzger Bar and Butchery last Wednesday.

Members of the Family Foundation were turned away from Metzger Bar and Butchery for their beliefs.

An agent of the Family Foundation stated he was annoyed after the group was turned away from Metzger Bar and Butchery last Wednesday. The group declares the rejection pertained to their religions.

According to Todd Gathje, Director of Government Relations for the Family Foundation, among the owners of Metzger called an agent of the Family Foundation about an hour prior to the booking time, stating that the group would not be dining in the dining establishment.

” We’ve had occasions at dining establishments all over the city and never ever experienced a circumstance like this,” Gathje stated. “It’s obvious that we are quite taken part in the general public policy dispute on a variety of questionable problems. We never ever anticipated that we would be rejected service at a dining establishment based on our spiritual worths or political beliefs.”
