But we’re not persuaded that was the only time Epstein spoke to the FBI. There were other tips and reports that he dealt with the United States federal government to recuperate taken funds. Therefore the FOIA demand.
How did the FBI react? Not by rejecting the presence of any records.
Instead, the FBI is concealing behind FOIA’s police exemption, specifying that the production of the Epstein records would disrupt continuous police examinations:
” The records responsive to your demand are police records; there is a pending or potential police continuing appropriate to these responsive records, and release of the details might fairly be anticipated to hinder enforcement procedures.”
We’re extremely skeptical that the release of the Epstein records would “disrupt enforcement procedures.” Ghislaine Maxwell has actually been founded guilty and Epstein is dead.
