A shocking video of a fox attack in upstate New York emerged online today. The quiet clip covers approximately 45 seconds. At its start, the female is seen standing near a driveway with a phone to her ear when the fox adds from behind and acquires her leg. Ed Russo, a meteorologist at CBS Harrisburg affiliate WHP-TV, shared the video on social networks just recently and recognized the lady as his cousin. “A cousin of mine was assaulted by a wild fox in Ithaca, NY,” he tweeted on Tuesday. “She’s okay. Geez this video is insane!”

He stated the fox checked favorable for rabies after it was ultimately captured and euthanized.
