Texas DPS Arrest Smuggler Transporting 5 Illegal Aliens – Wearing Construction Vests to Blend In (VIDEO)

Texas DPS arrested Mauro Ulises Portillo Torres, a smuggler earlier this week in Webb County during a traffic stop and found 5 illegal aliens in his truck. The group, including the smuggler, was dressed in construction vests to try and blend in with construction workers.

The 5 illegals were handed over to the Border Patrol. Torres was also charged with having a firearm illegally in his possession. He also said he was going to be paid $2,000 to smuggle the illegals into San Antonio.

Under the Biden regime, Texas was on their own to protect their border. Now that President Trump is back in office, Texas now has the support of the United States Government to protect the southern border.

Texas set more buoys in the Rio Grande to deter illegal crossings. With President Trump backing these efforts, the Lone Star State will have a much easier time protecting the border.

Texas has been very successful in deterring illegal immigration under Operation Lone Star which was launched in 2021 under Republican Governor Greg Abbott. The State has deployed the Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard to detect illegals crossing into the US as well as apprehending those already in Texas. The operation also pursues cartel members and human smugglers as well as working to stop drugs, including fentanyl, from entering the US.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution gives the Federal Government the authority to stop an invasion. Since President Trump is back in office, he immediately sealed the border and kept his promise to the American people.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

The rule of law is back.
