The video reveals Democrat Councilwoman Any DeGise continuing to repel after striking a bicyclist at the crossway of Forrest Street and Martin Luther King Drive.
The bicyclist, 29- year-old Andrew Black, turns over the hood of the black SUV while his shoes go flying.
According to authorities, the bicyclist ran a traffic signal.
Amy DeGise is now dealing with calls to resign after getting away the scene of the mishap.
DeGise’s representative informed Patch.com that she will not be resigning from her post.
” Councilwoman DeGise was chosen extremely simply a couple of months back and she has no intent of leaving the dedication she made to serve the individuals of Jersey City. She will not resign and prepares to finish her complete term and continue in civil service,” DeGise’s representative, Phil Swibinski, stated in a declaration to Patch.com.

WNBC reported that authorities later on stated Black was incorrect, and he did not have the thumbs-up, however DeGise is still dealing with installing calls to resign since she still did leave the crash scene.
“[That] somebody of status would be up to a point where they would neglect the law they are requiring to support, and they are attempting to clean our streets or whatever they are calling it, they can’t even do it themselves– that actually upsets me,” Black informed HudPost on Tuesday.
