A new Pew Research survey finds that a strong majority of Americans approve of Trump’s policies and plans as he heads into his second term.

What a contrast this is to the way Democrats and the media have portrayed Trump over the last few years. They tried to paint him as a fascist dictator who was a threat to democracy.

Now that he has won, it’s clear that the American people want what Trump is offering them.

53 percent approve of Trump plans: Pew survey

More than half of the country approves of President-elect Trump’s plans and policies for his upcoming second term in the White House, according to a Pew Research Center survey released Friday.

The poll found that 53 percent of Americans at least “somewhat” or “strongly” approve of the president-elect’s plans for the future. Some 46 percent disproved.

The respondents have expressed confidence in how Trump will handle the economy, foreign policy, immigration and criminal justice, but not as much when it comes to abortion.

Nearly 6-in-10 Americans, 59 percent, said they are “somewhat” or “very” confident Trump will make good decisions on economic policy. Some 54 percent said the same regarding criminal justice, while 53 percent expressed belief in his handling of foreign policy and immigration, according to the poll.

The Washington Times has more on this:

Americans warming to Trump; Pew survey says voters shifting to GOP, away from Democrats

Americans are warmer to President-elect Donald Trump now than they were in 2016 and 2020, according to a new poll that found they believe he’ll steer the economy correctly as he takes office.

The Pew Research Center polled nearly 10,000 people after the election and said most expect him to make good decisions about the economy, crime issues, immigration and foreign policy, though they’re less enthused about his ability to unify the country.

Some 43% said they have a warm feeling toward Mr. Trump, which while less than a majority is still better than 2016, when 36% felt that way toward him, and 2020, when that was just 34%.

Bear in mind, this is all happening before Trump is even in office. Just wait until he has a chance to begin fixing things.
