When it concerns Joe Biden, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell is a real follower.
During a current monologue on his program, he chastised his liberal audience for stressing about Biden’s age and reduced psychological capability, firmly insisting that Biden is doing an incredible task which nobody appreciates speeches, simply the things that gets done behind closed doors.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell used his platform, The Last Word Wednesday night to scold skittish Democrats and tirade about how President Joe Biden’s failure to make speeches and form meaningful sentences was not a part of his task as president. “The idea that Joe Biden is too old is based upon a total and utter misconception of the work of the presidency. The task is to make choices, not speeches,” he firmly insisted.
O’Donnell argued that “speechmaking” was the only part of the presidency that America can witness by means of news media, for that reason, the American public can not evaluate Biden as it can not see what a great task he’s doing “behind closed doors.”
The host then compared the presidency to the Super Bowl, stating: “You can remember what Patrick Mahomes did on the field, however you can’t keep in mind a word of his speech. Which’s for excellent factor, the task is on the field.” …
In an effort to protect his point, O’Donnell specified that “everybody who sees Joe Biden doing his task behind closed doors thinks he is totally capable to do that task,” which obviously consisted of previous Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy who “constantly believed President Biden was totally capable when he remained in the space working out with him in 2015.”
