Almost half of the authorities department in the town of Big Bend, Wisconsin, strolled off the task today.
A couple of months back, the town board voted to dissolve the cops department till reaction from the general public triggered them to reverse course. Regretfully, the chief then passed away by his own hands.
Now the cops are extremely disappointed and there are apparently more resignations en route.
It seems like the board is comprised of woke individuals who wished to defund the cops and after that discovered that the neighborhood at big didn’t concur. What a mess.
The Daily Mail reports:
Nearly HALF of Wisconsin police resigns in one day after town board attempted to ELIMINATE the whole department before ‘ravaged’ primary passed away by suicide
Five members of a Wisconsin police resigned on the very same day– an exodus that represents almost half of the department.
The Village of Big Bend revealed the resignations this previous week, after officers informed brass they were fed-up with a ‘harmful’ workplace produced by the town board.
The very same board chose to dissolve the department back in September, a choice that was reversed last month following pressure from residents.
However, within that period, the town’s long time authorities chief, Don Gaglione, all of a sudden passed away– and regional coroners just recently verified it was a suicide.
The discovery likely contributed to outrage seen from among the now-resigned officers at a town conference last month. He was accompanied out after airing his distaste towards another regulation that would eliminate the town’s Police and Fire Commission.
In this brief video report, there’s one point where they reveal a town conference and among the law enforcement officer tosses up his hands in disappointment, blaming the issues on the town board. Enjoy:
Communities which choose far left activist types are going to continue to have issues like this. They require to choose leaders who have the back of the cops department.
