A 71- year-old male shot back at armed burglars in North Philadelphia late Thursday night.
The senior guy apparently had actually simply gotten Chinese takeout along the 2400 block of North 10 th Street near Cumberland Street when 2 males worn black revealed a burglary.
The unknown 71- year-old took out his revolver and exchanged shooting with the burglars.
Philly cops stated the 71- year-old “cleared his weapon” throughout the shootout.

A 71- year-old male remains in steady condition after authorities state he resisted versus 2 suspects throughout a break-in effort.
The occurrence occurred late Thursday night on the 2400 block of North 10 th Street in North Philadelphia.
The victim informed authorities was strolling house from a takeout dining establishment when 2 suspects emerged from a street and tried to rob him.
According to cops, the victim took out a revolver and exchanged shooting with the suspects. He was struck as soon as in the ankle and later on transferred to Temple University Hospital.
The suspects, 2 males in black clothes, were last seen running away on foot through a street. 2 invested shell cases from the suspects’ gun or guns were later on discovered on the scene by detectives.
