An intermediate school coach and instructor at Devine Independent School District dropped dead of a cardiovascular disease after collapsing in front of his trainees early in January.
Jacob Sanchez, age 35, of Bigfoot, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
According to reports, Sanchez unexpectedly collapsed at the start of class.
He was immediately provided CPR by the employee, however sadly, they were not able to conserve him.
” Parents we remain in a medical hold at this time. All trainees are safe. All ms school video games have actually been cancelled for today,” Devine ISD composed on its social networks.
According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Sanchez passed away of a cardiovascular disease.
School principal Kandi Darnell was with him minutes prior to he collapsed, as reported by KSAT.
” He appeared great and whatever appeared great,” she stated.
” We lost a pal, coworker, and simply an excellent male today,” Darnell composed.
” Jacob was the sort of individual who would do anything to assist others. He was a kids’ instructor. He strove to get in touch with all of our kids not simply our professional athletes. Our kids are going to have a difficult time, however our DMS household will exist to assist our kids along with each other. On an individual level I feel as if I’ve lost a kid. Sanchez’s partner, Rebecca Powe, provided a declaration following the death of his other half.
” My honey was the light of our lives. He kept our household on our toes, continuously going, and constantly chuckling. We shared a lovely life together He enjoyed us with his entire heart and liked his life. He was devoted to the neighborhood of Devine and the kids were his inspiration every day.”
Devine Intermediate School provided this declaration, “Devine Intermediate School want to extend our ideas and prayers to the Sanchez household. Our hearts are with all of the Devine neighborhood.”
According to Sanchez’s obituary, he landed mentor and training at Devine ISD in2016 He taught 6th and eighth-grade Science, and coached football, basketball and track, for the last 7 years.

According to his social networks account, Jacob Sanchez got his very first dosage of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine on December 2020 and 2nd dosage on January 2021.
